Wikipedia is good for a general overview of the subjects. Because I already had a fairly good knowledge of all these subjects, I didn't feel the need to research much deeper, especially since most of the further research would not be focusing on what I want (links between Utopia and the ideas above, which is personal)

(aside from being an awesome photograph, it also shows the water on the web, which is similar to how I incorporated the beads into my sculpture)
The broken mirror idea that I incorporated into my sculpture is similar to mosaics.
This website is a good resource, as she is also reflecting (ha) on the process she used to create a work.
